Combine our Long Tail assembly with your engine, and you do the welding... Bog Hog Mud Motors offers the shop enthusiast, the opportunity to weld together their own Mud Motor for a huge savings. The U-Weld-It Kit will accommodate a range of horse power depending on your choice of engine: Kohler Command & CS series, Briggs-Stratton Vanguard, Honda, Kawasaki, and others.

The Kit's main frame is approximately 12 pieces, less then 50 welds, [depending on model], plus the handle bar. The engine is coupled to the prop shaft with a SAE standard U-joint; we supply the prop shaft side, customer supplies engine side. Operator presence switch is normally part of the engine, and not part of the kits. The kit offers the standard transom mount or optional spin into boat mount. The owner can trim his motor with our adjustable cavitation plate and multiple pivot point location. The skeg has an integral weed cutter to insure weed free operation.

Our kits have always included the rugged Bog Hog prop, made from tough 304 stainless steel with extra thick blades, and cupped trailing edge, for best performance in mud, weeds and swap bottom.

Kit Option: For an additional $92.00, add the "Swing into Boat Transom" which allows you to rotate the engine 360 degrees.
